Application Requirements For Vietnamese Visas In New York City
When applying for a Vietnamese visa in New York City, it’s essential to meet the specific documentation and eligibility requirements to ensure a smooth and successful application process. Whether you’re traveling for tourism, business, or another purpose, you’ll need to provide a valid passport, a completed visa application form, a recent passport-sized photo, and additional documents based on your visa type, such as an invitation letter or proof of travel arrangements. Travel Visa Pro simplifies this process by guiding you through each step and ensuring all your documents meet the consulate’s standards. Here are the requirements to apply for a Vietnam visa:
- Visa Application: Applicant must submit one completed visa application receipt. The application is completed online using the link below. Once the page loads you will see a warning in Vietnamese, which translates to “You have 15 minutes to fill the form. Field with (*) is required” – click “Ok”. You may then select “English” from the top right and complete the application form. You will see a photo upload tool. You DO NOT need to do this, an original photo must be submitted with the application regardless. Once completed, print and sign the confirmation. Confirmation should be printed single-sided, and signed in blue or black ink only.
- Photo Requirement: Applicant must submit two (2) identical, color, passport style photographs (no glasses may be worn). The photos must be recent and generally should not be the same used for the passport itself.
If ordering concierge service or Document Pre-Check, you may upload digital photos through your account at no additional cost. Otherwise you can choose to submit digital photos to us via email after placing your order. Simply email them to orders@travelvisapro.com with the applicants full name and order number in the subject line. Additional $20 Photo Printing fee will be added to your request.
- Passport: Applicant must submit their current, signed passport. A visa is a stamp or sticker applied to the passport by the Embassy or consulate, therefore the original passport is required.
- Invitation Letter: Applicant must submit a Letter of Invitation (LOI) from the inviting party or organization. The LOI should contain the applicants name and title, detail the purpose of the visit, provide dates of the visit and should be signed by a company officer with contact details included.
Scanned/printed copies are generally acceptable.
- Proof of Travel: Applicant must submit a flight reservation from a travel agency or online booking tool (such as an e-confirmation) showing departure from the US and arrival/departure for the destination.
- Business Cover Letter: Applicant must submit a Business Cover Letter (BCL) from a US company. A BCL is an original document on company letterhead signed by a company official. It must provide the dates, duration and purpose of the trip. It should also include contact details (name and address) of an individual at the host company. Close the letter by accepting moral and financial responsibility for the applicant. Please review the template below.

Apply For An Expedited Vietnam Visa In New York City
Traveling to Vietnam can be an exciting experience, but navigating the visa process can often feel overwhelming. To ensure a smooth journey, it’s important to understand the basic requirements and guidelines for obtaining a Vietnam visa. Travelers from the United States typically need a visa prior to their arrival, which can be acquired through an embassy or consulate, online, or by utilizing expedited services like those provided by Travel Visa Pro. Knowing whether you need a tourist or business visa is crucial, as each category has specific rules and documentation requirements.
When applying for your visa, pay close attention to the documentation needed. Common requirements include a valid passport with at least six months of validity, a recent passport-sized photo, and a completed visa application form. If you opt for an e-visa, ensure that you apply through the official website and receive an approved electronic travel authorization before your departure. It’s also wise to confirm the processing times, especially if you require a rush or expedited visa; these services can significantly decrease wait times but may involve additional fees.
Keep in mind that while Vietnam is generally welcoming to tourists, there are specific regulations that travelers should heed. For example, some items are prohibited or restricted, such as certain medications and cultural artifacts. Be cautious when it comes to currency; it’s advisable to exchange a small amount of cash for local transactions and to be aware of varying exchange rates. Another key point is to ensure that you do not overstay your visa, as penalties can include fines or future travel restrictions.
To avoid potential pitfalls during your travels, consider familiarizing yourself with Vietnam’s customs and etiquette. Learning a few basic Vietnamese phrases can go a long way in building rapport with locals. Furthermore, travel insurance is often recommended to protect against unforeseen events during your trip. If you’re traveling for educational purposes or business, ensure all necessary documentation from your institution or company is prepared in advance to avoid any complications upon entry.
With the right preparation and support, your trip to Vietnam can become an enriching adventure rather than a stressful process. Travel Visa Pro is here to assist you with your visa application and provide guidance every step of the way. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need help with your travel arrangements. Your journey begins with the confidence that your visa needs are in expert hands.

Guide To Traveling To Vietnam With A Visa
Traveling to Vietnam can be an exciting adventure, but obtaining the proper visa is essential for a smooth journey. To visit Vietnam, U.S. citizens typically need a visa unless they are eligible for visa exemption under certain conditions. Standard tourist visas are available for stays of up to 30 days, while longer stays and other travel purposes may require different visa types. It’s crucial to apply for your visa in advance, as the processing time can vary. Travel Visa Pro is here to assist you through this process, offering fast and efficient visa services, including rush and expedited options for those in a time crunch.
When applying for a Vietnamese visa, make sure you have all necessary documentation ready. This typically includes a valid passport with at least six months of validity beyond your planned return date, a recent passport-sized photo, and a completed visa application form. Depending on the type of visa you’re applying for, additional documents may be required, such as an invitation letter from a Vietnamese host for business visas. Ensure that all information is accurate and matches your passport to avoid any complications.
Travelers should also be aware of the specific rules and regulations surrounding the visa process in Vietnam. For instance, overstaying your visa can result in fines or legal issues, so it’s crucial to keep track of your entry and exit dates. If you plan on extending your stay, it’s advisable to consult with local authorities or our team at Travel Visa Pro for guidance on how to properly handle your visa extension. Familiarizing yourself with these regulations will help you avoid unnecessary stress during your travels.
Additionally, be mindful of the changing regulations and the current travel landscape. It’s important to check for any updates regarding entry requirements or visa policies, especially in light of public health considerations. Before you travel, ensure you have health insurance coverage that includes international travel and stay informed about any potential travel advisories that may affect your plans.
Lastly, our team is dedicated to making your visa application process as seamless as possible. If you have any concerns or questions, don’t hesitate to reach out for assistance. We are here to provide you with the expertise and support you need at every step of your journey, ensuring that you receive your Vietnam visa quickly and without hassle.
