Application Requirements For Vietnamese Visas In Detroit
When applying for a Vietnamese visa in Detroit, it’s essential to meet the specific documentation and eligibility requirements to ensure a smooth and successful application process. Whether you’re traveling for tourism, business, or another purpose, you’ll need to provide a valid passport, a completed visa application form, a recent passport-sized photo, and additional documents based on your visa type, such as an invitation letter or proof of travel arrangements. Travel Visa Pro simplifies this process by guiding you through each step and ensuring all your documents meet the consulate’s standards. Here are the requirements to apply for a Vietnam visa:
- Visa Application: Applicant must submit one completed visa application receipt. The application is completed online using the link below. Once the page loads you will see a warning in Vietnamese, which translates to “You have 15 minutes to fill the form. Field with (*) is required” – click “Ok”. You may then select “English” from the top right and complete the application form. You will see a photo upload tool. You DO NOT need to do this, an original photo must be submitted with the application regardless. Once completed, print and sign the confirmation. Confirmation should be printed single-sided, and signed in blue or black ink only.
- Photo Requirement: Applicant must submit two (2) identical, color, passport style photographs (no glasses may be worn). The photos must be recent and generally should not be the same used for the passport itself.
If ordering concierge service or Document Pre-Check, you may upload digital photos through your account at no additional cost. Otherwise you can choose to submit digital photos to us via email after placing your order. Simply email them to orders@travelvisapro.com with the applicants full name and order number in the subject line. Additional $20 Photo Printing fee will be added to your request.
- Passport: Applicant must submit their current, signed passport. A visa is a stamp or sticker applied to the passport by the Embassy or consulate, therefore the original passport is required.
- Invitation Letter: Applicant must submit a Letter of Invitation (LOI) from the inviting party or organization. The LOI should contain the applicants name and title, detail the purpose of the visit, provide dates of the visit and should be signed by a company officer with contact details included.
Scanned/printed copies are generally acceptable.
- Proof of Travel: Applicant must submit a flight reservation from a travel agency or online booking tool (such as an e-confirmation) showing departure from the US and arrival/departure for the destination.
- Business Cover Letter: Applicant must submit a Business Cover Letter (BCL) from a US company. A BCL is an original document on company letterhead signed by a company official. It must provide the dates, duration and purpose of the trip. It should also include contact details (name and address) of an individual at the host company. Close the letter by accepting moral and financial responsibility for the applicant. Please review the template below.

Apply For An Expedited Vietnam Visa In Detroit
If you’re planning a trip to Vietnam, understanding the visa requirements is essential to ensure a hassle-free experience. Travelers from the United States need to obtain a visa prior to arrival or secure an e-visa depending on their travel plans. Typically, a tourist visa is valid for 30 days and can be extended once you are in the country. It’s crucial to apply for your visa well in advance, especially if you are considering rush or expedited services, to avoid any last-minute complications.
When applying for a Vietnam visa, make sure you have all necessary documentation ready. This includes a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay, a recent passport-sized photograph, and any additional paperwork specified by the embassy or consulate. Be attentive to the specific requirements, as these can vary based on the visa type you are applying for. An incomplete application can lead to delays, which may disrupt your travel plans.
One common pitfall for travelers is the misconception that visas can be obtained on arrival. While Vietnam does offer a visa-on-arrival option for travelers with pre-approved letters, it is exclusive to certain conditions—such as arriving by air and having arranged the letter through a reliable travel agency. It’s important to research thoroughly and decide in advance to ensure smooth entry into the country. At Travel Visa Pro, we assist with these arrangements, providing you with peace of mind.
Be aware of cultural nuances and local laws while traveling in Vietnam. It’s essential to follow local customs and regulations, which can differ significantly from what you may be accustomed to in the U.S. For instance, dress modestly when visiting religious sites and be respectful of local etiquette. Also, take note that illegal drug possession is taken very seriously and can result in harsh penalties, including lengthy prison sentences.
Lastly, it’s wise to stay informed about any travel advisories or changes in visa policies that may affect your trip. Keep a copy of your visa and passport with you at all times; it’s advisable to have both physical and digital copies in case of loss or theft. Taking these precautions helps mitigate stress during your travels. Should you have any questions or require assistance with your Vietnam visa application, Travel Visa Pro is here to help you navigate the process smoothly and efficiently.

Guide To Traveling To Vietnam With A Visa
Traveling to Vietnam is an exciting adventure, but securing the proper visa is crucial to ensure your trip goes smoothly. As you prepare for your journey, it’s essential to understand the type of visa you’ll need based on your purpose of travel—be it tourism, business, or study. Standard tourist visas allow for a stay of up to 30 days, while business visas can extend longer depending on your arrangements. Be sure to gather all necessary documentation such as a valid passport, recent photographs, and any invitation letters if applicable. This preparation is the first step towards a stress-free experience.
One of the most significant advantages that Travel Visa Pro offers is the ability to expedite your visa application process. While traditional visa applications can take weeks to process, our expedited services allow you to receive your visa in as little as one business day. However, it’s crucial to apply well in advance of your travel dates, as unforeseen delays might arise. This is especially true during peak travel seasons or holidays when many travelers are applying for visas simultaneously.
It’s also vital to stay updated on the current regulations surrounding entry into Vietnam, including any health and safety requirements that may be in effect. For instance, travelers may need to show proof of vaccinations or present a negative COVID-19 test, depending on the latest guidelines. Additionally, keep in mind that your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay, and it should have at least one blank page for the visa stamp.
To facilitate a smooth application process, double-check that all documentation is accurate and complete before submission. Missing information or errors can lead to delays or even denial of your visa application. Travel Visa Pro’s experienced team is here to assist you in revising your forms and ensuring everything is in order.
Lastly, it’s advisable to have a clear plan regarding your travel itinerary and accommodation details, as you will need to provide this information when applying for your visa. Should you encounter any challenges or have questions during your travel planning process, do not hesitate to reach out to our responsive customer support team. We are dedicated to guiding you through each step, ensuring that you can focus on enjoying all that Vietnam has to offer without the stress of incomplete travel documentation.
