Bangladesh Business visa applicants must meet the following requirements. Remember you can also purchase one of our VIP services to help you manage most of these requirements for you and get your visa faster:
- Proof of Travel: Applicant must submit a flight reservation from a travel agency or online booking tool (such as an e-confirmation) showing departure from the US and arrival/departure for the destination.
- Passport: Applicant must submit their current, signed passport. A visa is a stamp or sticker applied to the passport by the Embassy or consulate, therefore the original passport is required.
- Invitation Letter: Applicant must submit a Letter of Invitation (LOI) from the inviting party or organization. The LOI should contain the applicants name and title, detail the purpose of the visit, provide dates of the visit and should be signed by a company officer with contact details included.
The letter must specify the visa validity and number of entries, the applicant is applying for.
Scanned/printed copies are generally acceptable.
- Visa Application: Applicant must submit one complete, signed visa application. Applications MUST be printed SINGLE SIDED and signed in blue or black ink only. Original signatures are required.
- Business Cover Letter: Applicant must submit a Business Cover Letter (BCL) from a US company. A BCL is an original document on company letterhead signed by a company official. It must provide the dates, duration and purpose of the trip. It should also include contact details (name and address) of an individual at the host company. Close the letter by accepting moral and financial responsibility for the applicant. Please review the template below.
- Photo Requirement: Applicant must submit two (2) identical, color, passport style photographs (no glasses may be worn). The photos must be recent and generally should not be the same used for the passport itself.
If ordering concierge service or Document Pre-Check, you may upload digital photos through your account at no additional cost. Otherwise you can choose to submit digital photos to us via email after placing your order. Simply email them to orders@travelvisapro.com with the applicants full name and order number in the subject line. Additional $20 Photo Printing fee will be added to your request.

When traveling to Bangladesh for business, obtaining the correct visa is crucial. Before you embark on your journey, ensure your business visa application is properly completed, as submitting incorrect or incomplete documentation can lead to delays or denials. Gather all necessary documents, including a valid passport with at least six months of validity left, a completed visa application form, and an invitation letter from the Bangladeshi company you will be visiting. It’s also essential to include details regarding your travel plans, along with any applicable hotel or flight reservations.
During your stay in Bangladesh, it’s vital to be aware of the local customs and regulations. Maintaining professionalism in all business interactions is essential, as the culture deeply values respect and hierarchy. Be prepared to engage in traditional greetings and, if relevant, business attire that aligns with local customs. It’s advisable to familiarize yourself with the local business etiquette to avoid unintentional faux pas. Furthermore, keep in mind that some business procedures may differ significantly from those in the United States, so patience and adaptability are key.
One of the disadvantages of business travel is potential communication barriers. While English is widely spoken in urban areas and among educated professionals, not everyone may be fluent. Therefore, having basic phrases in Bengali or employing a translator can facilitate smoother interactions. It’s also wise to have your important documents translated into Bengali if they are required during meetings or transactions in Bangladesh.
Travelers should also remain vigilant regarding health and safety. Ensure you have the necessary vaccinations recommended for Bangladesh, and consider bringing a health insurance policy that provides international coverage. Be aware of your surroundings in both urban and rural areas, as crime can vary; taking common-sense precautions can greatly reduce your risk. Furthermore, stay updated on travel advisories from the U.S. Department of State, as these provide valuable information that could affect your travel plans.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the visa application process or have questions about documentation and requirements, Travel Visa Pro is here to streamline your experience. With nationwide services and 125 locations across the United States, we offer specialized VIP service packages to assist you with every step, from managing applications to setting up appointments.
