Requirements For Vietnam Business Visas In Seattle
All Applicants in Seattle who want to apply for a Vietnam business visa must meet the following requirements:
- Visa Application: Applicant must submit one completed visa application receipt. The application is completed online using the link below. Once the page loads you will see a warning in Vietnamese, which translates to “You have 15 minutes to fill the form. Field with (*) is required” – click “Ok”. You may then select “English” from the top right and complete the application form. You will see a photo upload tool. You DO NOT need to do this, an original photo must be submitted with the application regardless. Once completed, print and sign the confirmation. Confirmation should be printed single-sided, and signed in blue or black ink only.
- Photo Requirement: Applicant must submit two (2) identical, color, passport style photographs (no glasses may be worn). The photos must be recent and generally should not be the same used for the passport itself.
If ordering concierge service or Document Pre-Check, you may upload digital photos through your account at no additional cost. Otherwise you can choose to submit digital photos to us via email after placing your order. Simply email them to orders@travelvisapro.com with the applicants full name and order number in the subject line. Additional $20 Photo Printing fee will be added to your request.
- Passport: Applicant must submit their current, signed passport. A visa is a stamp or sticker applied to the passport by the Embassy or consulate, therefore the original passport is required.
- Invitation Letter: Applicant must submit a Letter of Invitation (LOI) from the inviting party or organization. The LOI should contain the applicants name and title, detail the purpose of the visit, provide dates of the visit and should be signed by a company officer with contact details included.

- Proof of Travel: Applicant must submit a flight reservation from a travel agency or online booking tool (such as an e-confirmation) showing departure from the US and arrival/departure for the destination.

Guide To Using Your Vietnam Business Visa
Traveling to Vietnam on a business visa requires careful planning and understanding of the country’s entry requirements. To begin with, ensure you have all the necessary documentation prepared before your trip. This includes a valid passport with at least six months’ validity remaining, a completed Vietnam visa application form, and an invitation letter from your Vietnamese business partner or host. The invitation letter should detail the purpose of your visit, the duration of your stay, and the activities you will engage in while in Vietnam. Having these documents in order will help facilitate a smooth entry into the country.
When applying for a business visa, it’s essential to choose the right type that aligns with your activities in Vietnam. Different types of business visas are available, such as the multiple-entry visa for longer stays or specific business dealings. Be sure to check your eligibility based on your business activities. Additionally, considering the option to expedite the visa process through services like Travel Visa Pro can save you time and alleviate stress, especially if your travel plans are starting to approach quickly.
While in Vietnam, familiarize yourself with the local laws and customs to ensure compliance and avoid any legal issues. One common area of concern involves the duration of stay. Make sure to adhere strictly to the dates specified on your visa. Overstaying can lead to fines, and in some cases, can affect future visa applications. Moreover, remember that workplace regulations may differ from what you’re accustomed to, so it’s wise to follow business etiquette and understand cultural nuances to foster good relationships with your hosts.
Stay informed about any health and safety recommendations relevant to travelers. As a business visitor, vaccinations may not be mandatory, but it’s a good practice to check for advisories that could impact your transaction or interactions in Vietnam. Lastly, it’s advisable to have travel insurance that covers any potential health and safety issues while you’re abroad.
In summary, preparing for a business trip to Vietnam entails securing the right visa, understanding local laws, and planning ahead. Do your research and consider using expedited services if you’re short on time. Remember, Travel Visa Pro is here to assist you through the visa application process, ensuring that you have a stress-free experience as you embark on your business endeavors in Vietnam.
