Application Requirements For Brazilian Visas In Sacramento
When applying for a Brazilian visa in Sacramento, it’s essential to meet the specific documentation and eligibility requirements to ensure a smooth and successful application process. Whether you’re traveling for tourism, business, or another purpose, you’ll need to provide a valid passport, a completed visa application form, a recent passport-sized photo, and additional documents based on your visa type, such as an invitation letter or proof of travel arrangements. Travel Visa Pro simplifies this process by guiding you through each step and ensuring all your documents meet the consulate’s standards. Here are the requirements to apply for a Brazil visa:
- e-Visa Notice: Using this program, applicant does not send any physical documents to Travel Visa Pro. The entire process is handled electronically. When the visa is issued, applicant will be provided an electronic confirmation to print and carry while traveling.
- Business Cover Letter: The applicant travelling to Brazil for business reasons (i.e. meetings, consulting, auditing, site visit, signing contracts, cruise or airline crew members, etc.) must submit a Business Cover Letter (BCL) from a US-based employer or Brazilian host-company.
A BCL can be a scanned document on company’s letterhead signed by a company’s official. The letter must state:
• visit dates and duration,
• purpose of the trip (description of business activities to be done),
• applicant’s job title, job description and monthly salary;
• contact details of the host company (name, address, phone)
• contact details of an individual (name, title, address, phone, email) at the host company.
• Affirmation of company’s financial responsibility of the applicant during the trip;
• A statement indicating that “no technical work, assistance or training” will be provided during stay in Brazil. Such activities require a VITEM temporary work visa. - Notice For Placing Order for E-visa: When placing your order online you will be asked to select inbound and return shipping options. As E-visa’s are handled electronically and no physical documents need to be sent, if only ordering E-visa(s), select “Applicant will handle shipping” to avoid unnecessary shipping fees.
- Digital Photo Requirement: Applicant must submit one (1) digital, color, passport style photograph (neutral expression, no glasses may be worn). See an example link below.
Alternatively, you can take a good quality “selfie” with your smartphone against light plain background and email to us at evisa@travelvisapro.com. FOR $15 Photo Service fee, we will resize and retouch it for you to fit requirements perfectly.
- Proof of Travel: Applicant must submit a flight reservation from a travel agency or online booking tool (such as an e-confirmation) showing the entry and the departure from Brazil.
- Brazil e-Visa Application Worksheet: Applicant must submit one completed visa application worksheet.
- Scanned Copy of Passport: Applicant must submit a color scan the valid, signed passport. See example of correctly scanned passport copy on the link below.
Passport must be valid for at least SIX (6) months after the intended arrival to Brazil.
Passport must also have at least one (1) completely blank page for visa/entry stamping upon arrival in Brazil. Amendment pages do not count.
- Applicants Under 18yrs: Although applicant may be submitting documents along with other family members, when submitted to an embassy or consulate, applications are treated individually. If applicant is under 18 years old, please view the following link.
- Photo Requirement: Applicant must submit two (2) identical, color, passport style photographs (no glasses may be worn). The photos must be recent and generally should not be the same used for the passport itself.
If ordering concierge service or Document Pre-Check, you may upload digital photos through your account at no additional cost. Otherwise you can choose to submit digital photos to us via email after placing your order. Simply email them to orders@travelvisapro.com with the applicants full name and order number in the subject line. Additional $20 Photo Printing fee will be added to your request.
- Proof of Sufficient Funds: Applicant must submit a NOTARIZED copy of their most recent bank statement. The statement must show the applicant’s name as the account holder, the balance of the account and the date of the statement.
The available balance should be greater than $200 USD per day in country. For example, if spending 10 days in the country, statement should show balance in excess of $2,000 USD.

Apply For An Expedited Brazil Visa In Sacramento
Traveling to Brazil can be an exciting adventure, but navigating the visa process is essential to ensure a smooth trip. Depending on your nationality, the purpose of your visit, and the duration of your stay, different visa requirements may apply. For U.S. citizens who plan to travel for tourism, business, or study, it is crucial to apply for a visa before departing, as Brazil does not permit entry without the appropriate documentation. To avoid delays, consider utilizing expedited services, which can help streamline the application process.
One of the key aspects of obtaining a Brazilian visa is ensuring that all required documentation is thoroughly prepared. This typically includes a valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining, passport-sized photos, proof of accommodation while in Brazil, travel itineraries, and financial statements demonstrating your ability to support yourself during your stay. Each visa category may have specific documentation requirements, so it’s vital to review these details carefully to avoid potential complications further along in the process.
As you gather your documents, pay careful attention to the accuracy of all information provided. Even minor discrepancies can lead to significant delays or even visa rejections. To help mitigate errors, double-check spelling on forms and confirmation of required dates. Additionally, familiarizing yourself with the Brazilian embassy or consulate’s specific guidelines can provide clarity and prevent misunderstandings regarding any essential procedures required for your application.
Once your visa is approved, take some time to familiarize yourself with Brazil’s customs, culture, and regulations. Be particularly mindful of health and safety advisories, as well as logistical considerations like local transportation and area-specific laws. For travelers planning to engage in more adventurous activities, such as trekking or scuba diving, researching the areas you plan to visit will allow you to prepare adequately and enhance your overall travel experience.
Lastly, don’t underestimate the importance of technical support. If you find yourself overwhelmed by the visa application process, consider reaching out to a professional visa service. Guide To Traveling To Brazil With A Visa
When traveling to Brazil, understanding the visa requirements is crucial for a seamless trip. Most travelers from the United States need a visa to enter Brazil, whether for tourism, business, or educational purposes. It’s essential to determine the type of visa you require based on your travel intentions. The application process generally involves filling out a visa application form, providing a passport-sized photo, submitting your itinerary, and showing proof of accommodation. Ensuring that you have all your documentation in order will help expedite the overall process.
One of the most common frustrations associated with obtaining a visa is navigating the application process. Many applicants may feel overwhelmed by the documentation requirements and the potential for delays. Travel Visa Pro simplifies this process by offering expert assistance throughout your application, from helping you complete and submit the necessary forms to ensuring that all documents meet Brazilian consular standards. Additionally, opting for rush and expedited services can help alleviate the stress of looming travel dates.
While the application process may seem straightforward, it is essential to be aware of specific details to avoid complications. For instance, it’s crucial to double-check your passport’s validity—Brazil requires that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date. Also, check if you need to show evidence of yellow fever vaccinations, especially if you’re traveling from certain countries. These small details can significantly impact your travel experience, so be diligent in preparing your documentation.
When you arrive in Brazil, it’s important to adhere to the rules and regulations regarding your visa. Different visas come with varying restrictions that dictate what you can and cannot do while in the country. For example, tourist visas typically do not permit work, while student visas may have specific limitations regarding duration and employment. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the conditions of your visa to ensure compliance and avoid any legal issues during your stay.
Lastly, although the visa process may seem daunting, being adequately prepared can make all the difference. Start your application as early as possible to avoid any last-minute issues. Remember to keep copies of all your documents, and consider travel insurance that covers any health or travel-related incidents during your trip. By being proactive and well-informed, you can focus on enjoying your time in Brazil, knowing that your visa needs are in expert hands with Travel Visa Pro.
