Application Requirements For Brazilian Visas In Cleveland
When applying for a Brazilian visa in Cleveland, it’s essential to meet the specific documentation and eligibility requirements to ensure a smooth and successful application process. Whether you’re traveling for tourism, business, or another purpose, you’ll need to provide a valid passport, a completed visa application form, a recent passport-sized photo, and additional documents based on your visa type, such as an invitation letter or proof of travel arrangements. Travel Visa Pro simplifies this process by guiding you through each step and ensuring all your documents meet the consulate’s standards. Here are the requirements to apply for a Brazil visa:
- e-Visa Notice: Using this program, applicant does not send any physical documents to Travel Visa Pro. The entire process is handled electronically. When the visa is issued, applicant will be provided an electronic confirmation to print and carry while traveling.
- Business Cover Letter: The applicant travelling to Brazil for business reasons (i.e. meetings, consulting, auditing, site visit, signing contracts, cruise or airline crew members, etc.) must submit a Business Cover Letter (BCL) from a US-based employer or Brazilian host-company.
A BCL can be a scanned document on company’s letterhead signed by a company’s official. The letter must state:
• visit dates and duration,
• purpose of the trip (description of business activities to be done),
• applicant’s job title, job description and monthly salary;
• contact details of the host company (name, address, phone)
• contact details of an individual (name, title, address, phone, email) at the host company.
• Affirmation of company’s financial responsibility of the applicant during the trip;
• A statement indicating that “no technical work, assistance or training” will be provided during stay in Brazil. Such activities require a VITEM temporary work visa. - Notice For Placing Order for E-visa: When placing your order online you will be asked to select inbound and return shipping options. As E-visa’s are handled electronically and no physical documents need to be sent, if only ordering E-visa(s), select “Applicant will handle shipping” to avoid unnecessary shipping fees.
- Digital Photo Requirement: Applicant must submit one (1) digital, color, passport style photograph (neutral expression, no glasses may be worn). See an example link below.
Alternatively, you can take a good quality “selfie” with your smartphone against light plain background and email to us at evisa@travelvisapro.com. FOR $15 Photo Service fee, we will resize and retouch it for you to fit requirements perfectly.
- Proof of Travel: Applicant must submit a flight reservation from a travel agency or online booking tool (such as an e-confirmation) showing the entry and the departure from Brazil.
- Brazil e-Visa Application Worksheet: Applicant must submit one completed visa application worksheet.
- Scanned Copy of Passport: Applicant must submit a color scan the valid, signed passport. See example of correctly scanned passport copy on the link below.
Passport must be valid for at least SIX (6) months after the intended arrival to Brazil.
Passport must also have at least one (1) completely blank page for visa/entry stamping upon arrival in Brazil. Amendment pages do not count.
- Applicants Under 18yrs: Although applicant may be submitting documents along with other family members, when submitted to an embassy or consulate, applications are treated individually. If applicant is under 18 years old, please view the following link.
- Photo Requirement: Applicant must submit two (2) identical, color, passport style photographs (no glasses may be worn). The photos must be recent and generally should not be the same used for the passport itself.

Otherwise you can choose to submit digital photos to us via email after placing your order. Simply email them to orders@travelvisapro.com with the applicants full name and order number in the subject line. Additional $20 Photo Printing fee will be added to your request.
- Proof of Sufficient Funds: Applicant must submit a NOTARIZED copy of their most recent bank statement. The statement must show the applicant’s name as the account holder, the balance of the account and the date of the statement.
The available balance should be greater than $200 USD per day in country. For example, if spending 10 days in the country, statement should show balance in excess of $2,000 USD.

Apply For An Expedited Brazil Visa In Cleveland
When planning a trip to Brazil, acquiring the right visa is crucial to ensure a smooth travel experience. Brazil offers various visa types, with the most common being the tourist visa. For U.S. travelers, it’s essential to apply well in advance of your departure date. Processing times can vary significantly, so if you’re short on time, consider utilizing expedited services to obtain your visa quickly. Be sure to gather all necessary documents, including your passport, a recent passport-sized photo, proof of accommodation, and an itinerary of your travel plans.
Understanding Brazil’s entry requirements is vital. First, your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended date of arrival. You should also have at least one blank page for the visa stamp. Upon arrival, travelers may be asked to show proof of onward travel and sufficient funds for the duration of their stay. It’s a good practice to keep copies of your travel documents, as these can be beneficial in case of loss or theft. Familiarize yourself with local customs and laws to ensure respectful and enjoyable interactions with locals.
While in Brazil, it’s essential to be aware of health recommendations and vaccinations, such as those for yellow fever, which may be required depending on your travel itinerary. Additionally, local transportation can vary by city, so researching options such as ride-sharing services, taxis, or public transit can help you navigate efficiently. Brush up on basic Portuguese phrases; locals generally appreciate any effort to communicate in their native tongue, enhancing your experience while traveling.
Safety should also be a priority during your travels in Brazil. It’s advisable to stay in well-populated and well-lit areas, particularly at night. While most visits are trouble-free, it’s wise to be cautious with your belongings and avoid flaunting valuables in public. Consider using hotel safes for your passport and extra cash. Always be aware of your surroundings, and trust your instincts if something feels off.

Guide To Traveling To Brazil With A Visa
Traveling to Brazil can be an exciting adventure, but it’s essential to navigate the visa requirements correctly to ensure a smooth journey. If you are a U.S. citizen planning to visit Brazil for tourism or business purposes, you will need a visa unless you are eligible for visa exemption under certain conditions. Begin by determining which type of visa you require. The most common types are tourist visas (VITEM IV) and business visas (VITEM II). It’s advisable to start the application process well in advance, as processing times can vary. Using Travel Visa Pro’s expedited visa services can significantly reduce the waiting time and help streamline your documentation process.
When applying for your Brazilian visa, you will need to gather specific documents, including a valid passport with at least six months’ validity beyond your intended departure from Brazil, a recent passport-sized photo, and proof of onward travel. Additionally, you may be asked to provide financial statements to demonstrate your ability to support yourself during your stay. Ensure that all documents are complete, accurate, and adhere to the guidelines set by the Brazilian consulate. If you find the application process overwhelming, don’t hesitate to reach out to Travel Visa Pro for assistance—they can guide you through each step of the process to avoid delays.
It’s also crucial to be aware of the vaccination requirements for entry into Brazil. As of the latest guidelines, a yellow fever vaccination is recommended, particularly if you plan to visit certain areas of the country. Having this vaccination may be mandatory if you are traveling from a country with a risk of transmission. Be sure to carry your vaccination certificate with you, as you may need to present it upon entering the country.
Once you arrive in Brazil, familiarize yourself with local laws and customs to ensure a respectful and enjoyable visit. Keep in mind that public transportation may vary significantly from what you’re accustomed to, and it’s wise to have a local currency (Brazilian Real) on hand for small purchases. Additionally, it’s advisable to keep copies of important documents, such as your visa and passport, in case of loss or theft.
Lastly, be prepared for any unexpected changes in regulations or travel requirements that may arise due to ongoing health concerns or political factors. Stay informed by checking your local embassy’s updates before your trip, and consider using Travel Visa Pro for updates on visa regulations tailored to your needs. Their expertise can provide peace of mind as you prepare for your travels, allowing you to focus on enjoying the vibrant culture and beautiful landscapes of Brazil.
